Asbury Park, NJ: Beach Cleanup with State Radio, Clean Ocean Action & Calling All Crows

Join Chad, Chuck, Mad Dog, and Clean Ocean Action as Calling All Crows hosts a beach cleanup before State Radio's show at the Stone Pony!

Clean Ocean Action (COA) is a leading national and regional voice working to protect waterways using science, law, research, education, and citizen action. COA is a coalition of 125 active boating, business, community, conservation, diving, environmental, fishing, religious, service, student, surfing, and women's groups. These "Ocean Wavemakers" work to clean up and protect the waters of the New York Bight, and have succeeded in closing eight ocean dumpsites, helping to pass new clean water laws, and encouraging greater awareness about ocean health. Join COA and CAC as we clean up Asbury Park!

Volunteer information: we'll meet at the Stone Pony at 1p.m. and walk over to the nearby beach together. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear close-toed shoes (no flip flops, please!) and bring and wear gloves. Water will be provided.

I just bought my ticket today! i'm super excited to do the service project and see the concert...i'm brining my two friends as well =]
