Calling All Crows

Haiti Relief Fund

As State Radio's tour bus rolled out of Boston for their Winter Tour, Calling All Crows was getting together the final details for our 2010 humanitarian campaign. But then tragedy struck Haiti and, like thousands of organizations around the world, we asked what we could do to help. And our trusted friends at Oxfam answered.

Through the end of February, every dollar collected by Calling All Crows at State Radio shows and through this dedicated webpage will be donated directly to Oxfam's Haiti Relief Fund. Oxfam has a staff of 300 stationed in Haiti right now, including a highly trained emergency response team who are well-versed in urban work. Oxfam affiliates have been working in Haiti since 1978, with focus on helping people establish stronger livelihoods and mitigating disasters. The current focus is supporting rescue efforts, assessing the damage, and responding with public health, water, and sanitation services to prevent the spread of waterborne disease.

Then, at State Radio's two-night stand in Washington, D.C. over February 26-27, we look forward to announcing Calling All Crows' 2010 humanitarian campaign to maintain our commitment to supporting Darfuri women.

All money collected here will go to Oxfam's Haiti Relief Fund.
