
Volunteer + Communications Coordinator
Salary: $45,000 annual
Benefits include: 15 days PTO + 10 federal holidays + cell phone reimbursement (up to $50/month) and health care reimbursement (up to $300/month)
Start Date: October 15
Location: Position will work remotely with travel expected, Boston-area candidate preferred
Reports to: Executive Director, who will be working remotely in Nashville, TN
Responsibilities:
Events Coordination

Boston area events include: 4 Living Room Series, December Benefit, Spring Fundraiser

Recruitment and Management of social impact partners, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees

Event Implementation
Volunteer Management

Manage volunteer leadership teams in 5 current markets

Recruit and manage volunteer leadership teams in 2 additional markets by July 2020

Build community and leadership capacity of volunteers
-
Support in sourcing partners and implementing events in target markets
Development

Donor tracking: data entry and follow up with any payment processing issues

Donor relationship-building: monthly thank yous, quarterly updates

Prospect Research and Development
Marketing + Communications

Maintain and update website

Social media: Drive strategic growth & engagement (include 3+ posts/week)

Newsletters: quarterly donor email newsletter + bi-monthly campaign email updates + monthly major donor print newsletter
