Title: Volunteer and Communications Manager
Salary: $50,000 annual + bonus eligible up to 5% base salary
Benefits include: 18 days PTO + 10 federal holidays + $50 monthly cell phone stipend
Start Date: August 15, 2020
Location: Remote
Reports to: Executive Director (works remotely in Long Beach, CA)
Responsibilities:
Volunteer Management (60%)

Grow and manage volunteer leadership teams in Chicago, DC, New England, including coaching/training in fundraising, implementing events, and building Calling All Crows’ presence

Recruit and manage volunteer leadership teams in 2 additional markets by July 2021

Build community and leadership capacity of all volunteers
-
Lead data entry to Salesforce and impact tracking for all volunteer data/events

When festivals/concerts return, lead volunteers on site at key festivals and shows
Marketing + Communications (20%)

Maintain and update website on Wix
-
Social media: Drive strategic growth & engagement (include 3+ posts/week and mailing list)

Newsletters: bi-monthly campaign email updates and quarterly organizational updates
Annual Events Coordination (10%)

Support implementation of Fall New England Fundraiser with volunteer leaders

Lead implementation of Annual Benefit Weekend social impact with volunteer leaders
Admin (10%)

Weekly Check-ins with supervisor

Professional Development

Other tasks as needed
Skills and Experience:
-
Skills: verbal and written communication, project management, time management, coaching

Experience in racial justice and/or feminist organizing preferred

Bonus points for experience in music industry, Salesforce, Asana, Wix
