Open Position: Executive Director
Title: Executive Director
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
Benefits: Discretionary PTO + 21 company holidays + health insurance + $50/month phone stipend
Start Date: January 2022
Location: Remote (Boston, NYC, Nashville or LA preferred)
About the Role
As an Executive Director at Calling All Crows, you will have the responsibility of leading multiple initiatives that help support our overall mission. You will lead the Board of Directors, manage campaign and program managers, and develop and implement fundraising and partnership strategies.
You will be joining a tight knit team of mission-oriented individuals inspired to better their communities through forward-thinking organizing to encourage music fans to become activists and join feminist social movements. We’re committed to supporting an inclusive work environment that fosters psychological safety and belonging.
What You’ll Do
Strategy (35%)

Drive programming, fundraising, communications and relationship building toward strategic growth and vision

Board Management, including monthly updates + quarterly meetings
-
Branding and PR (impact driven, not brand driven)

Recruitment and management of music industry partnerships
-
Recruitment and onboarding of social impact partners
Development (25%)
-
Develop and drive fundraising strategy, including setting targets for staff and board
-
Develop and expand donor relationships, including grassroots, major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors

Create fundraising messaging and materials with Development & Operations Manager
Campaign and Program Design and Management (20%)

Lead campaign design every 2-3 years

Drive issue selection process with Board of Directors

Identify and manage consultant for campaign design process

Develop and manage impact partner relationships with Program Manager

Develop and manage campaign budget
-

Manage the Program Manager, Digital Engagement Manager, and Here for the Music Director
Operations (15%)

Manage the Development & Operations Manager

Develop and manage the organization budget

Ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations
Professional Development and other tasks as needed (5%)
Who You Are
Experience and Skills:
